Psychosomatic Therapy

Unlock the connection between mind, body, and emotional healing

Format: Online
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Price: £125

Sometimes emotional stress, trauma, or inner conflict can show up in the body as physical symptoms.

Psychosomatic Therapy helps explore the link between your emotional world and what your body may be holding, especially when symptoms seem connected to stress, overwhelm, or unresolved experiences.

This work is not about saying your symptoms are imaginary. Your experience is real.

It is about gently understanding whether emotional patterns, stress, or past experiences may be affecting how you feel physically, and whether your body may be carrying more than words alone have been able to express.

Who this is for

This session may be right for you if you feel that your body has been carrying stress, emotion, or unresolved pain for a long time, and you want a deeper, more holistic way of understanding what may be happening beneath the surface.

It may also feel relevant if you notice that your symptoms become worse during stress, emotional pressure, conflict, fear, or periods of inner overwhelm.

You may already sense that your body is trying to communicate something, even if you do not yet fully understand what that is.

Psychosomatic Therapy may be helpful if you struggle with:

  • chronic stress or burnout

  • anxiety or panic attacks

  • body tension, headaches, or fatigue

  • digestive issues linked to stress

  • breathlessness or a lump-in-the-throat feeling

  • skin flare-ups or stress-related symptoms

  • physical discomfort that seems to worsen during emotional pressure

  • symptoms with no clear medical explanation

  • health conditions that feel more intense during stress or anxiety

How does Psychosomatic Therapy work?

In these sessions, we gently explore what may be happening beneath the surface of your symptoms.

This may include:

  • understanding how stress affects your body

  • exploring unresolved emotions or emotional suppression

  • recognising internal conflicts that may be creating tension in the system

  • identifying patterns linked to trauma, fear, guilt, pressure, or overwhelm

  • noticing how your body responds to certain thoughts, memories, situations, or relationships

  • exploring subconscious material that may be keeping the symptom active

  • supporting emotional release, regulation, and a greater sense of inner safety

Depending on what is needed, I may draw on a blend of therapeutic and holistic approaches, including psychosomatic understanding, emotional processing, subconscious work, gentle guided techniques, and body-aware exploration.

The aim is not to force the body to change, but to understand what it may be expressing and create the conditions for deeper healing.

Important note

Psychosomatic Therapy does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have physical symptoms, it is always important to seek appropriate medical support and investigation where needed.

This work is designed to complement medical care, not replace it.

Its purpose is to help you explore the emotional, psychological, and subconscious factors that may be influencing your physical experience, so that healing can be approached more fully.

What this work may support

Psychosomatic Therapy is not about forcing the body to change quickly.

It is about understanding more deeply what may be happening within you, so that symptoms can be approached with more awareness, compassion, and care.

Over time, this work may support:

  • greater emotional awareness

  • a deeper understanding of stress patterns

  • more connection between mind and body

  • less inner pressure and suppression

  • a stronger sense of safety within yourself

Your body may be holding a story your mind has not yet had the space to fully hear.

Psychosomatic Therapy offers a gentle and meaningful way to explore that story, understand your symptoms more deeply, and begin moving towards greater relief, balance, and connection within yourself.
