Hypnotherapy

Gentle subconscious work to help you create lasting inner change

Format: Online
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Price: £85

Sometimes you understand something logically, but still feel stuck emotionally.

You may know a habit is not helping you, know a fear is irrational, or know you want to feel more confident, calmer, or more in control — yet something deeper keeps pulling you back into the same thoughts, feelings, or patterns.

Hypnotherapy helps work with that deeper level.

It is a gentle therapeutic approach that uses relaxation, focused attention, visualisation, and suggestion to support change at a subconscious level.

Rather than trying to force change through willpower alone, hypnotherapy helps you access the part of the mind where many habits, emotional responses, beliefs, and automatic patterns are held.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process that uses a relaxed, inwardly focused state to support emotional and behavioural change.

In this state, the mind often becomes calmer and more receptive. This can make it easier to work with patterns that may feel difficult to shift through talking or thinking alone.

What Hypnotherapy Feels Like

Hypnotherapy is not about losing control or being made to do something against your will.

It is a collaborative and respectful process. You remain aware, safe, and guided throughout.

Many people describe the experience as deeply relaxing — similar to that space between being awake and asleep, where the mind becomes quieter and the body begins to let go.

My approach is gentle, grounded, and client-centred. I do not use forceful techniques or dramatic stage-style hypnosis.

The aim is not to control your mind, but to help you access the part of yourself that already holds the capacity for healing, change, and resilience.

What happens in a session?

Each session begins with a conversation about what you would like support with and what you want to change.

From there, I guide you into a calm, relaxed, inwardly focused state using gentle verbal guidance, relaxation, and visualisation.

Depending on your needs, the session may include:

Guided relaxation - To help settle the body, quiet the mind, and prepare for deeper therapeutic work.

Visualisation and imagery - To support healing, confidence, emotional safety, or a more positive future outcome.

Therapeutic suggestion - To gently reinforce healthier beliefs, responses, and behaviours at a subconscious level.

Future-focused work - To help you mentally rehearse the changes you want to create and strengthen a new inner direction.

Inner child or deeper emotional work - Where appropriate, to soothe unresolved feelings and shift old emotional associations.

Every session is tailored to you. Some people experience hypnotherapy as deeply calming and restorative. Others find it brings insight, emotional release, or a stronger sense of connection with themselves.

How hypnotherapy may help

Hypnotherapy works by helping you access your subconscious mind in a safe and guided way.

This can support you to:

  • feel calmer and more regulated

  • shift unhelpful emotional patterns

  • strengthen healthier beliefs and responses

  • build confidence and inner safety

  • reduce the intensity of fears or stress-based reactions

  • mentally rehearse new ways of being

  • feel more aligned with the changes you want to create

The mind responds strongly to imagery, suggestion, and repeated inner experience. This is why visualisation and hypnosis can be such powerful tools — they help the brain begin to relate differently to situations, feelings, and future outcomes.

Important note

Hypnotherapy is not a magic fix, but it can be a powerful tool for change when used with the right intention and therapeutic support.

It works best when you are open to the process and willing to engage with your inner world.

These sessions are designed to support emotional well-being and personal development. They do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
