Service Description
Because healing begins the moment you feel truly heard. Life can be overwhelming. At times, emotions feel too heavy to carry alone. Patterns repeat. Worries spiral. Relationships struggle. You might feel lost, stuck, or simply unsure where to begin. That’s where counselling therapy comes in. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, breathe, and gently untangle what’s weighing on your heart and mind. My role is not to “fix” you — but to walk alongside you with empathy, care, and the tools to help you reconnect to your own inner clarity, strength, and healing capacity. Who I Work With Counselling is for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, healing from emotional pain, or looking to make sense of difficult life experiences. I work with adults who may be experiencing: Anxiety or stress Depression or low self-esteem Relationship difficulties Grief and loss Trauma or past emotional wounds Identity questions Burnout or emotional overwhelm A general desire for self-development My Approach: Pluralistic, Compassionate, and Personalised As an Pluralistic Counsellor, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I draw on a range of trusted therapeutic methods to support your unique story, needs, and goals. This means our work together is highly personalised. Depending on what you bring to the sessions, I may gently incorporate tools and techniques from the following therapeutic styles: Person-Centred Therapy – you lead the way, I follow with support and care CBT – helps change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours Psychodynamic Therapy – looks at how your past affects your present Transactional Analysis – helps understand how you relate to others Gestalt Therapy – focuses on what you feel in the here and now Solution-Focused Therapy – works with your strengths and goals What to Expect Each session lasts 50 minutes and takes place online. You set the pace. You choose the focus. In our initial session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and how you hope to feel or change. We’ll also review the practicalities of working together, such as confidentiality, boundaries, and what you can expect from me as your counsellor. From there, sessions evolve naturally - focussed on your goals, your story, and your healing journey. We may talk, reflect, notice patterns, sit in silence, or gently challenge old thinking. Cancellation Policy
Appointments can only be rearranged or cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. To access your appointments and reschedule or cancel, use the Log In option (top right of all screens). Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
